A prática docente em uma instituição de ensino inserida no serviço público de saúde

Objective: the research aimed to analyze the perception of teachers about the experience of active methodologies based on their experience at the School of Health Sciences. Method: this is an exploratory and qualitative study, with semi-structured interviews carried out with professors of the Undergraduate Nursing and Medicine Courses. The data were analyzed using Iramuteq and MAXQDA software. Results: in the 21 in-depth interviews, teachers pointed out that active methodologies are a strength for student learning. As weaknesses, rigidity and erosion of the methodological stages of teaching. Final considerations: the teaching and learning process in active methodologies has the teacher as a facilitator and they proved to be adapted to the methodological proposal.
