Tecnologia Assistencial no processo de elaboração de protocolo para aplicação do Brinquedo Terapêutico na pediatria

Objective: To describe the process of creating assistive technology for the use of the Instructional and Dynamic Therapeutic Toy in the preparation of the child for blood sample collection. Method: It is an applied research built in two steps, namely: literature review in databases and elaboration of a protocol regarding the Therapeutic Toy usage. Result: The literature review resulted in five Portuguese-language articles published between 2019 and 2021, which supported the construct of the protocol with the n. 546/2017 resolution of the Federal Council of Nursing and the 2019 Clinical Laboratory Collection Manual. The protocol was presented with the description of the steps for application: before, during and after the procedure. Conclusion: the protocol usage turns possible a oriented, organized and facilitated care planning, with it's main purpose being the promotion of humanization in pediatric nursing care.
